The report also provides a variety of excellent resources regarding Web Site construction and maintenance.

Who Is It For?

A Web Site Audit is undertaken for identified high-growth potential companies that can most benefit from a strategic review of their Web Site, and have the organizational capacity and resources to implement recommendations.

There are two different ways to approach the audit depending on the circumstances of the client company:

1. Brochureware or static site review
2. e-commerce review

Your business should have an up-to-date Marketing Plan before undergoing a Web Site audit.

Deliverables

A Web Site Audit will result in a written report that contains a review of your company's online presence, and will include recommendations and tips for improvement. The report will also contain general information on Best Practices.

Expected Business Results

Expected business results will be quantified in terms of Return On Investment.

Time Commitment

You should be prepared to give at least 20 hours of your or your staff's time to allow us to obtain the information necessary to undertake the review, read the completed report, review the additional resources provided, and participate in a teleconference to discuss the report.

Length Of Engagement

The process will take about 6-8 weeks for the production of the report, and follow up teleconference.

Follow Up Actions

It will be the client's responsibility to act on the recommendations contained in the Web Audit report. SBDCTAP can provide further counseling to help clients with additional strategy and Best Practices.

Monitoring Schedule

Clients must agree to a regular 6 month monitoring schedule over the course of 2 years.
